Shravani Upakarma was held on the sacred day of Shravan Purnima under the joint aegis of Vipra Foundation Mumbai Chapter, Zone-12 Maharashtra, and Adhyatmik Utthan Mandal Maharashtra.
The rituals were conducted under Acharya Dr. Mahendra Pratap Joshi. Distinguished members of the Vipra community were present, including Dr. Sunil Sharma, CA, National Organisation General Secretary of Vipra Foundation, and the renowned katha narrator and spiritual saint Swami Gaurdas Ji.
The programme included religious rituals such as worship of the rishis, havan, Vedic study, recitation of the rishi lineages, Satyanarayan Katha, Raksha Vidhan and the wearing of a new yagyopavit (sacred thread).
