Eligible general-category candidates should get priority on general seats
Ahead of the local body elections in Jaipur, Vipra Foundation has asked the state leadership of the BJP and the Congress to field eligible general-category workers as candidates on the seats designated for the general category.
Vipra Foundation State President Shri Rajesh Karnal said that recommendations for candidates from other categories on general seats have caused discontent among general-category workers. In this regard, the organisation has written to the top leadership of both parties, including BJP State President Shri Madan Rathore, Congress State President Shri Govind Singh Dotasra and Chief Minister Shri Bhajan Lal Sharma, asking them to ensure that the rules are followed.
